Reverie

Ethereal Floral Symmetry blends soft color, mirrored forms, and layered photography into a dreamlike visual experience. Through repetition, light, and movement, this work explores the balance between abstraction and nature while creating a sense of calm reflection.

“Reverie” belongs in the Ethereal Floral Symmetry, a style where soft blended florals merge into a harmonious, mirrored abstraction. Furthermore, the composition radiates a dreamlike glow with pastel hues evoking fluidity and movement while the symmetry adds an almost meditative quality.

Additionally, Ethereal Floral Symmetry allows me to explore color, repetition, and movement through layered photography and abstract visual storytelling. For me, this piece became a fun exercise in repeating patterns of color, subject, and light that evolve into a kaleidoscope of energy.  It started as the seed pods of mullein, a native plant to the area, photographed in very shallow depth of field against a gorgeous blue sky to create depth and texture.  Meanwhile, I like to sit in a field of wildflowers exploring the shapes and reflective light and patterns.  Additionally, creating the base image becomes a joy in itself and then choosing the perfect paper to bring out the soft textures of the glowing subject completes it. Ultimately, each step is really exciting.

Through Ethereal Floral Symmetry, I create images that balance emotion, texture, and visual rhythm. Each print is meticulously handcrafted by me, emphasizing authenticity and artistic integrity. I do not use artificial intelligence when creating these images. In addition, none of the prints are mass-produced in a laboratory; I individually hand-print every piece. All materials used, including ink and paper, are of archival quality to ensure longevity and preservation.
