Hypnotic Echoes

Surreal Botanical Kaleidoscope

“Hypnotic Echoes” fits into Surreal Botanical Kaleidoscope, a style where organic floral elements are mirrored and layered into a symmetrical, hypnotic abstraction. The rich pinks, greens, and deep shadows create a striking interplay between depth and color, evoking a dreamlike floral mirage.

Foxglove in magenta.  What a beautiful blend.

I have been intrigued by foxglove when I learned it was used in the formulation of digoxin aka digitalis.  Digoxin was isolated and very shortly put into practice in 1930 by doctor Sydney Smith but was used for treating heart conditions dating back to 1785.

In lore, it was said that foxes used the blooms to cover their paws in the forest to soften their step giving them a stealthy approach.  And the tiny inside marks are said to be the footprints of fairies.

Each print is meticulously handcrafted by me, emphasizing authenticity and artistic integrity. No artificial intelligence is employed in the creation of these images. In addition, none of the prints are mass-produced in a laboratory; they are individually hand-printed by me. All materials used, including ink and paper, are of archival quality to ensure longevity and preservation.
